My nieces and nephews
Just had another visit from my niece (A) and her Mummy & Daddy. This is a different niece than G. She is about 2 1/2 years old and has infant epilepsy and global development delay, plus several other smaller problems. She is the most gorgeous girl and mostly happy even with all her challenges, and I love her to pieces. Her cousin G (2 weeks old now) and G's brother E (3 years old) live so far away that they hardly ever get to see each other... Here is a photo of E's 'teddy', which he brought over last time he came to visit.

Here is my beautiful new niece, G - at two hours old.
Her Daddy informed me she looks better after having had a bath... Also it seems she has a pair of very healthy (loud) lungs on her... So I don't think there will be a lot of sleeping going on when she's hungry as she is in Mum & Dad's bedroom for the first year or so.
Thank goodness for the futon in the lounge...

Being an Aunty and the joys of technology!
I'm an Aunty again... To the cutest little baby girl - G. It has made me very happy. What with Mum dying by inches and everything else that is not quite up to par at the moment, I tend to celebrate all the good things that happen in my life just a little bit more nowadays.
My work mates were a little bewildered when I whooped for joy after I got the email from my brother (including photos), especially as it was Friday the 13th.
Email is great! - I got to see photos of my niece two hours after she was born and with her being in another country I wouldn't usually get to see photos for weeks.
I believe in the magic of technology...
Clap your hands if you believe in the magic of technology...
If you don't clap your hands it will die...
You don't want technology to die do you...
Please clap your hands...
